Five Benefits to Find the Best Mattress for Back Pain
After 30 years, I replaced my really old-school waterbed. Still worked great, had no problems with it after all these years. It was heated so it was pleasantly comfortable on cold winter nights and it totally conformed to my body.
My problem was that my body changed over those 30 years and now it needs different support than I did as young college student. Darn that ageing! LOL. The last few weeks, I’d wake up in the morning, sometimes during the night, with different aches and pains. I experienced to accept that it was time for a new bed.
After plenty of research, and the 20,000 review on Amazon, I decided that this Zinus was the one to try. It arrived quickly, I followed the directions to cautiously cut open the plastic wrapping, got it situated on the bed frame, and let it expand untouched for a day longer then the directions called for (I probably have to, but “just in case”).
Overall, I’d day it’s medium-firm. The top layer is just soft plenty of to sink into and be comfortable, with the middle and bottom part layers providing plenty of support so it doesn’t feel like sinking. Edge support is good and I never feel like I’m going to roll off. I have plenty of body support , in all the right places, that I sleep very well and soundly, and no longer wake up to any aches or pains. The bed is a little comfortable right where I am, but not more so than any other mattress, like those in a resort. It isn’t any cooler when I initial enter, either. Temperature-sensible, it was great in the cozy summer nights, but still comfortable because the nighttime temps get to in to the low 50s.
Ultimately, this was a good choice for me personally – great overall body system help, good temperature, good advantage support during sleep and when getting up.
UPDATE: Per year later We also bought the king sized mattress, which I’d only rate 4 stars. While it’s still fairly comfortable, it didn’t puff up to the full 10 inches like the queen size mattress did. There’s a middle strip which seems to be 10 inches thick, but both sides are not so it feels like sleeping on an incline at first, until the foam adjusts to my body. I still sleep well every night, it’s still comfortable enough / cool plenty of, but it wasn’t ideal like the previous mattress. This time is was just OK, and acceptable plenty of that I didn’t return it.
Oh man, this mattress is wonderful. Have had it for nearly 6 weeks and it’s still as good as the first day we plopped down on it. It says green tea infused, I thought it was a neat idea when we bought it but I observe/smell nothing about it that would guide me to thinking it’s infused with anything. But it’s still the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had, vacationing in those fancy hotel beds got me wishing I was home in my own. My husband wants to get a bigger bed eventually but I’m only game if we’re getting another one of these zinus mattresses.

Let me say 1st that I am extremely happy with this mattress. It says to open the box within 48 hours. I opened up it instantly and laid it on to the floor with the very best side down on the plastic to help keep dirt getting onto it (I’ve hardwood flooring). It began to puff up after probably 20 a few minutes – yes I nearly panicked – nonetheless it was nearly ready by 7pm, also it. And it emerged at 4. There is no awful odor. In regards to a year back I had been in a healthcare facility because I reduce my feet pretty bad, plus they provided me morphine for the discomfort. I woke up in a panic crying stating, ‘I’m sinking’. I actually can experience my own body sink into this mattress. (I informed my child that and she laughed) It feels so excellent!!! I’ve a mild type of CP and I’m super comfortable onto it, and it doesn’t eventually often. I believe if you would like this mattress purchase it with Primary and open up it instantly. Thsts what I did so and I’ve nothing at all but good stuff to state.
